Organic golden flaxseed
Organic Golden Flaxseed is equally as nutritious as brown flaxseed, but with a lighter golden color. Flaxseed is extremely nutritious when added to baked goods-biscuits, pancakes, waffles, muffins, your favorite yeast bread recipe, or just about anywhere. It is also tasty when added to cooked cereals.
Flaxseeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and are rich in dietary fiber and lignan, an estrogen-like chemical found in plants which act as antioxidants. Flaxseeds may help prevent cancer, coronary heart disease and diabetes, and helps control high blood pressure and reduces cholesterol levels.
You may eat the natural untreated seeds whole, ground into meal, or sprouted. Used in small amounts, they add a crunchy quality when making muffins, waffles, pancakes, granola or cooked cereals.
Egg Replacement (to replace one egg):
1 tablespoon flaxseeds
4 tablespoons water (or other liquid)
Process seeds in a blender to a fine meal, add liquid and blend well. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Made in the USA. Gluten testing to less than 20 ppm (ideal for celiacs and those with gluten intolerance/sensitivity) based on ELISA R5 test. They clean on and around the equipment with high pressure air between products. They also discard the first 20-25 lbs of a new product on the line prior to packaging it to limit exposure to possible cross contamination.
